Dear everyone

As you may know, today (1st February 2010) is our last day of operation with Flora Damansara 1. We chose this day in conjunction with the withdrawal of the property management company from Flora Damansara 1. This website shall no longer be updated. The contents shall remain as it is until the hosting and domain services expires. This website/domain is privately owned and funded, maintained by a team of volunteers on part-time basis.

The website team would like to take this opportunity to thank all our colleagues, management and joint committee (especially the outgoing committee chairman, treasurer and secretary) and let you all know how we’ve enjoyed working with all of you these past few months. We wish you all success in the future and are grateful for the opportunity to work with you.

Backup Diesel Generators

Here are some shots of the diesel generator at Block D.

Surprisingly, despite poor maintenance, it is in good condition and starts up easily (well, at least 2-3 cranks). Looks like the culprit are the old batteries. However, it is a huge Volvo Penta engine! From the looks of it, it is a 8 cylinder with turbo cranking up to 1,500 RPM!

I took some shots at site as my job is all about visiting high end condominiums and bungalows.

Example here is One Menerung @ Bangsar, KL. The on-going sale price per unit is RM 1,200 per square feet and each unit has a build-up area of 5,000 square feet. Total is around RM 6,000,000 per unit. Maintenance fee per month is RM 3,500 alone. Yikes!

Magnificent! If only it is possible at Flora Damansara…

Even their swimming pool is breathtaking!

Sigh…

Today is our Building Manager, Mustaffa Khamal’s birthday. Due to urgent meeting with Saujana Triangle S/B, we chose to celebrate this simple occasion at their showroom in Central Park.
